DIY Rustic BBQ Serving Tray

Having really now caught the bug for making stuff I decided it was crucially important we had a large serving tray for BBQ’s etc.

I had some spare off-cut larch/douglas fir wood from the log store build and thought it’d be fun to attempt. The design was mine and again, there isn’t much finesse to this as can be seen. I’m lucky in the fact that our ‘look’ for our new home is largely natural and rustic meaning we aren’t needing refined high-end quality!

I glued the boards together and attached two braces underneath to also act as a flat base/feet. Everything else is screwed together. I found some iron handles, again from a trader on Etsy and now we have a functional tray both for use and decoration in our kitchen.

Cost:- Iron Handles (Etsy) £25
