Having a childhood interest in birds I decided to have some fun and make a table feeder for them to sit and enjoy outside our main window. I had some larch sitting in the garage, left by the previous owner. I also had a delivery pallet which I hacked up using the circular saw so I could use that for the base.
It was only an experiment and I wanted to try cutting angles and fitting a small roof etc. It turned out the table was useless anyway as it only seemed to attract and feed crows and magpies instead of the smaller birds I’d envisaged. When it started to rats from the nearby fields, I realised my experiment was well founded but ultimately useless! Not all ideas work out for the best.
