I still had a couple of the pine board off-cuts and we wanted a planter to go on our large kitchen island. The rustic texture would really help to soften the stark white kitchen surface.
This container won’t win any construction prizes as I just crudely nailed the five pieces together. I realise I only need to construct these items to satisfy their use. I stapled a plastic lining in place to catch any water leaking from the three plant pots inside. It’s hardly ever moved but does its job perfectly, looking good and functioning as intended. A free addition to our home.
