DIY Table Using Leftover Wall Cladding

I was pretty chuffed with myself for managing to order accurately for the reclaimed pine wall cladding. I’d added 10% to the volume of the order which was a good thing cos it gave me some choice but it also meant I had a few boards left over.

We wanted a simple table for the large sound bar beneath the TV. Left over boards would be the perfect solution and blend into the room nicely. I ordered some more steel coffee table legs off Etsy and it was a very simple job to screw the boards onto them. I didn’t attach the boards to each other in any way. The surface is rough and untreated but the function of the table is such that it doesn’t matter.

Once I’d got the table in position we were disappointed to see the various ugly but necessary TV cables on show so I made a simple 3 sided box to hide them. The legs cost £50.
